Red Dress Campaign 2016

Category : Uncategorized

The Prince George branch of the United Nations Associations in Canada was honored to take part in a national campaign, the REDress Project. The REDress Project “focuses around the issue of missing or murdered Aboriginal women across Canada. It is an installation art project based on an aesthetic response to this critical national issue.” The Prince George event involved members of the community holding red dresses on the highway to raise awareness of missing and murdered women.
