Red Dress Campaign 2016

Category : News

The Prince George branch of the United Nations Associations in Canada was honored to take part in a national campaign, the REDress Project. The REDress Project “focuses around the issue of missing or murdered Aboriginal women across Canada. It is an installation art project based on an aesthetic response to this critical national issue.” The Prince George event involved members of the community holding red dresses on the highway to raise awareness of missing and murdered women. More information on this program can be found at:

Hello there, in response to your question on the Red Dress campaign I would have to defer you to the organizing group’s website “http://www.theredressproject.org/”. They are the main organizing group for this event and our branch was invited to participate in this year’s event alongside their group.
